đ Where is the entrance?
Main entrance is located near the water fountain at the center of Plaza de Cesar Chavez
đł What types of payments are accepted?
The Ticket Booth and official Festival booths accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.). Food, drink, and artisan vendors may accept a variety of payments, including cash.
đ« How can I purchase tickets?
Buy tickets online at sv-mariachifest.com to avoid long lines. Tickets will also be available onsite the day of the festival. QR codes will be emailed to ticket holders prior to the event. These will be scanned at the gate in exchange for your festival wristband.
đ¶ Who needs a ticket?
General Admission – $20
Senior (62+) / Military – $15
Children 6 and under â FREE
Children 7â17 $10 each (Child GA ticket)
Children 6 and under â FREE
Children 7â17 $10 each (Child GA ticket)
 A child must be accompanied by an adult with a wristband and may only access areas permitted to that adult.
đ What can I bring?
For everyoneâs safety, please review our âWhat to Bringâ guide on the website. Bags, purses, and belongings will be searched. Prohibited items will not be allowed. Smoking, vaping, and unauthorized vending are not permitted.
đ§ What if a performer cancels?
The show goes on rain or shine. We do our best to notify guests of lineup changes, but all performers are subject to change. No refunds or exchanges.
đ Can I bring my pet?
No pets are allowed, with the exception of ADA-certified service dogs. They must be leashed at all times. Emotional support animals, therapy dogs, or pets are not permitted.
đ· Can I take photos?
Yes! Phone and small cameras are welcome. For professional photography, please contact us in advance.
đ żïž How do I get there?
The festival is held in downtown San Jose at Plaza de CĂ©sar ChĂĄvez. All activities are walkable within the plaza. Consider taking public transportationâVTA bus/light rail is highly encouraged. Visit: sv-mariachifest.com/travel/Â for parking details.
â ADA Accessibility
Weâre proud to offer an inclusive, ADA-accessible event. There are accessible restrooms, and designated viewing areas.
â Security & Safety
Security personnel and a First Aid team will be on-site. If you need help, alert a staff member or volunteer. Lost & Found is located at the main entrance.
đ Can I exit and re-enter the festival?
Yes! As long as youâre wearing your valid wristband for the day, you may re-enter. Bags will be rechecked upon return.
